I’ll be reading this weekend as part of Sydney Poetry Month and the BBC Contains Strong Language program. If you’re in Sydney come along to Knox Bar in Chippendale on Saturday 31st Aug! Four fantastic poets are also on the bill: Willo Drummond, Gareth Jenkins, Teena McCarthy and Pooja Mittal Biswas.
For the first time I’ll be sharing material from the new book I’ve been working on, a verse novel for young adults called Flying Hearts. It’s about a bunch of kids who are into graffiti and roam the streets of Sydney spraying secret messages to each other. Give me a wave if you’re interested in learning more. I plan to share the opening three or four poems at the Sydney NEWS event.
